How Therapy Can Help

You don’t need to be in crisis to begin. Therapy can help you make sense of what feels complicated, understand yourself and others differently, and find new ways to navigate what matters most.

01. Individual Therapy for Adults

Understanding yourself. Changing what isn't working.

You may understand why you react a certain way and still find yourself doing it again. Perhaps you overthink decisions, struggle to set boundaries, feel disconnected from what you want, or find that old experiences continue to shape your present.

Individual therapy offers a space to explore these experiences, understand what maintains them, and develop new ways of responding.

Areas of focus

  • Anxiety, overthinking & emotional overwhelm

  • Self-worth, identity & life transitions

  • ADHD-related challenges & emotional regulation

  • Boundaries, people-pleasing & relationship difficulties

04. Couples Therapy

Understanding the relationship you're creating together.

You may find yourselves having the same argument, struggling to feel close, or disagreeing about decisions that affect your future. Often, the difficulty isn't simply what you argue about, but the cycle you fall into and what each of you experiences within it.

Couples therapy can help you understand these cycles, communicate more openly, and work toward a relationship that better reflects what you both need and value.

Areas of focus

  • Communication, connection & recurring conflict

  • Premarital counseling & relationship decisions

  • Infidelity, betrayal & trust repair

  • Relationship uncertainty & decision-making

  • Pregnancy & the transition to parenthood

  • Parenting, family boundaries & co-parenting

Finding your footing in a changing season of life.

The transition into adulthood can bring questions about identity, relationships, career, independence, and the expectations you've carried into this stage of life. You may feel pressure to have everything figured out while privately questioning whether the life you're building feels right for you.

Therapy can help you make sense of competing expectations, clarify what matters to you, and navigate change with greater self-trust.

  • Identity, independence & direction

  • Anxiety, uncertainty & decision-making

  • Relationships, boundaries & belonging

  • Family expectations and changing roles

Therapy gives teens a place to talk openly, build emotional skills, and develop a stronger understanding of themselves.

Our Approach

Inner Axis is about looking beneath the roles, expectations, and experiences that have shaped who we are to discover what still feels true, what no longer fits, and who we are becoming.

Our experiences shape how we see ourselves, navigate relationships, and respond to the world around us. Sometimes, the ways we learned to cope, protect ourselves, or maintain connection continue to influence us long after they stop serving us.

In therapy, we'll explore those patterns with curiosity, make sense of the experiences and relationships that have shaped you, and identify what you want to do differently. We'll work toward changes that feel meaningful in your everyday life, whether that means understanding yourself more deeply, navigating relationships differently, strengthening boundaries, or making decisions that feel more aligned with who you are.

You don't have to become someone else to make meaningful changes. The work is about understanding yourself more fully, recognizing what no longer fits, and building a way forward that feels like your own.
